I need a 64 bit modem and software (Driver) for a Windows x64 Professional Computer. I currently sell a lot of Aopen hardware modems but most of the software is 3 years old. Are any Modem manufactures coming out with 64 bit drivers? There are only 4 native dirvers in windows Xp x64 Edition, as compared to the few hundred in XP Pro. If I can't find one let this be a word of warning for people interested in upgrading to a 64 bit OS.
Thanks for now! Anyone? |

Contact AOpen and ask when they will get 64-bit drivers out. The more people contact them, the sooner it will happen.
Hardware drivers continue to be a problem for Windows x64, although hardware manufacturers are getting better. I have drivers for all of my hardware, although I don't have a modem. |

Thanks Guys, I'll pull a couple SVV's in and try them out. And if someone whats a modem with hardware flow control I'll tell them to fork over $100, at least for now.

The USR 5610B PCI hardware modem has x64 drivers now too.
