Lightbulb wind, xp, first built boot help.

ok, i am ready to boot my fisrt system, i have everything installed, and when i start up system sound ok, only one bit, but don't boot windows.

because i was tryaing ti use the hard drive that i am using on another system, so what i have to do to be able to use the same hd, with wind, xp. on. i don't have a system disk because it's a copy but otherwise i have a home xp full version. the only issue it's that i cuold not be able to use all the other software.
any help please. thank you, in advance.

That sounds like it could be your problem -- you're using a copy of XP. That's illegal and not suppported by Microsoft, and so you'd be best served by getting a new license for XP Home.

Do you or do you not have a legal copy of XP on a CD? You need to do a repair reinstall of Windows.

yes i do, i did it a clean install and everithing is working good so far thank you to all for the help.
