hello
I want to format my hard drive, and have never done it before. I want to completly wipe everything then re-install windows XP. My hard drive is in 2 partions. Do i use DOS to format? I know how to re-install windows by booting from the cd. Just not sure how to format and make my hard drive 2 partions again. Could someone please give me a step by step of how to do this. Thanks. Just boot with the CD and enter Setup. You can delete partitions and recreate them there.

So when i delete a partion it will automaticlly format that drive?
For instance the 2 partions are c:\ anf F:\. If i delete both of them the hard drive will be wiped? Then i just create a new one and re-install windows on it? |
