Desktop rotate
My desktop is rotated for 90 degrees. How can that be? I must have pressed something on the keyboard or the graphic card is gone wild? I use Win 98SE and NVidia TNT2 graphic card

Are you talking about the task bar at the bottom being along one side? If so, left click on a blank area of the task bar and drag it to the bottom.
If you are talking about the whole image rotated 90, check display properties for any option to rotae the image.

Try, when at your desktop, some combination of the arrow keys and control or arrow keys and alt. I used to do this at school for fun all the time, and that was how to intentionally mess it up... but that was with windows ME.. don't know for sure with 98SE.
