Dual boot problems

After a major problem with XP, I decided to install XP again on another partition.
I then tried to repair the first OS with a recovery disk and somehow managed to install a further two separate versions on other partitions! I have re-formatted the last two partitions, but when i boot I am asked to choose from four operating systems! How do I get the boot screen to show just the remaining two operating systems and not the two I have reformatted?

Also, I now need to reformatt the original drive, but 'disc managment' won't allow me to ('format' and 'delete partition' are greyed out) Is it possible to delete the original OS and just boot my one remaining 'good' OS ?

XP Home
3.06 Pentium
2 gig ram
