New mobo - issues...

i installed a new mobo this morning - and now once i hit the windows 2000 pro splash screen - i end up blue screening....

what can i do to avoid backing up and reinstalling??

can i get to a command prompt?? I tried a win98/me boot disk but thats not doin anything - and for some reason, i cant seem to boot directly to cd to try a repair...

HELP!

Do a repair install from the Windows 2000 disk.

Unhappy

i tried making a boot disk (4 total) off of bootdisk.com with no prevail
and for some reason i cant get it to boot off the win2k pro cd either...

i tried every option in the bios and from the mobo options for booting...

also - --- - with no prevail.....

Is the CD set to be the first boot device in the BIOS? Is this a valid Windows 2000 install CD?

cd is set to the ONLY boot option - with "try other devices" OFF

and yes - its a valid install cd

Make sure the CD is clean. Try another bootable CD to see if the drive works.

One way or another, you are going to have to find a way to boot from that CD.

im just going to wipe it - the hard drive....

now when i try and start it up it says NTLDR is missing.....
wont boot from cd - wont detect any kinda of boot disk in the A:
