I am using Windows XP Home. Recently I switched to a new internet service. In order to check my e-mail I must go the providers web page then click on "Get My E-Mail". I then get a pop-up window that asks me to choose what e-mail address / account to open. When I choose my specific account, I click on the login button and I can then access my e-mail.
Question: Is there any way that I can set up an icon on my desktop where all I have to do is click on that icon and it will go directly to my e-mail? That is bypassing going through the providers web page and all the other steps? Please help. Thank you. |

You can put an icon on your desktop that will take you directly to the pop-up windows, but it sounds like you will have to go through the rest because that's how your e-mail provider wants it.
If your e-mail provider supports POP3 or IMAP you may be able to set up your account in an e-mail client like Outlook Express. |
