Have you tried a system restore to see if you can roll back your system to before the error occurred.

If a system restore doesnt work, you could try the windows system file check... Open a CLI (Start > Run > cmd) and use the command sfc /scannow

tried sfc and it did not detect anything. system restore wont help cuz it was turned off...
whith plextools it happens when splash screen appears and it doesnt let me in the program until i click ok on that message. but then it works ok

with office programs like word and excel it happens during work and pops a couple of messages as i click ok and then program crashes.

with photoshop and dreamweaver is pretty much the same as with office

i will reinstall java and see if that helps (a wild guess ) had a virus not long time ago in a couple of java files...

edit: it did not work, still happens... anyone?

Before you proceed further, are you certain you have removed all malware from the system? Do anti-spyware scans and anti-virus scans from safe mode.

I would also advise going to www.ewido.com and using the online scanner.

If the system is clean and still has this problem you could try a repair install of XP.
