2003 server problem : cannot see files on a partition in slave drive

hi !

I am newbie to 2003 and just started work on it .... so i decided to install it on my home computer .... as well .... this is what i did ...

1. on my primary drive created 4 partitions (20Gb, 20GB, 40 GB, 40GB) in the order written.
2. installed OS in this order :
windows 2000 (on first 20GB partition)
windows XP (on third 40 GB partition)
windows 2003 server ( on second 20 GB partition)

I also have a slave drive which was connected while I was installing all these ... the slave is also 120 GB and has 4 partitions of 30 Gb each..... Everything is working fine except one thing ........

My windows 2003 server OS cannot see the files in first partition of my slave drive

it sees the partition .... but it shows 0 files .... is there a way i can fix this ...

Hi gemini_shooter

Its probably down to a permissions error, i know when i transfer files from old NT4 servers to 2003 after slaving the drive i logon as the administrator and I first have to take ownership of drives then set permissions to full control in order to transfer files to the new system.
