Transfer my files 95b to 98SE

Just put together a new system for myself, P-866flip chip on a Gigabyte board. Nice- anyway I want to transfer my files from my old 95 machine to this one. How can I do it? Can I put the old drive in the new box as slave and just drag the data files, IE fav's, address book etc- over to the new drive after loading the progarams or is there a better way? There are 4 years worth of stuff I need to keep going with.

Your idea is the best way. What I usually do is just make a folder on the new drive and copy the entire old drive over to it using xxcopy with the /clone switch, then go in after what I need and move it to the right places.
