Question NT 4 SP1 DHCP problems...

Hey all,

I got Windows NT 4 SP1 installed on my laptop last night. I then promptly installed my pcmcia network card and drivers in order to get it working on my network, so I can connect to the Internet and get SP 6. The machine acting as the DHCP server has win98se OS. Another machine on the network which is also using win98se obtains an ip just fine and can serve the net (ICS). Now when I try this with NT and log on, I get an error saying: "The DHCP client could not obtain a IP address".

Under event viewer:

DHCP failed to obtain a lease for the card with network address XXXXXXXXX. The following error occured:

The semaphore timeout period has expired.

Any ideas on this one? I have TCP/IP, netbeui, and IPX, and netbios installed, what all do I need for services, if that is the problem? How about bindings? Thanks in Advance.
