Emergency recover or Boot disc

After trying to repair my 2000 build I realised I should have made a boot disc or emergency recovery disk. But I can't find in "help" how to make one.
Can I make one on CD rather than floppy?

No, you need a floppy. You make it in the Backup utility. (Start, programs, accessories, system tools). What this does is copy the registry to the repair folder in c:\winnt, and the floppy has pointers to that folder when you do the repair process. It is NOT a bootdisk - you still boot with the 2K CD.
