Question Error message during install ????

I just built a PC for a friend (as I have many times) but during the step were the system formats the HD for the Windows install, around the 77% mark it gave me a black screen that said "Error Installing Operating System" and then does nothing... If I restart it shows the Intel screen then right back to this error message.

Does anyone know what might cause this problem or maybe how to fix it. My guess is that it got interrupted during the format, and needs to start over. Or maybe there is something wrong with the HD... ???

Any suggestions would be a big help!!

Thanks in advanced..

Knowing your system specs would help. Most often faults like this during an install can be traced to a memory problem; either defective or a compatibility issue.
