Freeze on Right Click

Whenever I right click my Desktop, everything freezes. I can access Task Manager via Ctrl + Alt+ Delete, but that freezes eventually. I can right click other things fine, say, Windows Explorer. If I Log Off through Task Manager, right before my desktop disappears, the Right Click Menu Appears.

I'm almost certain that it is not a malware issue, but I may be wrong.

Try looking in the system and application logs for any errors. These can provide clues to whats going on. Is your system throwing errors? What are your system stats?

I got a TON of errors from Winmgmt for Applications, and a few errors from Service Control Manager or Netlogon or Dhcp for system.

What should I do?

a.) narrow down the errors to the last time frame the erratic behavior occurred.
b.) take note of the time, and right click something to cause this behavoir, reboot, and read the logs again, taking note of the error and number.
Open up help and support in the start menu, and perform a search for the error numbers. If by some chance you can't find anything, perform a search for "freezes when right clicking", "context menu freeze", or just use your imagination. If you that yields no results, narrow down the errors (don't post your entire log, just the pertinent errors), give us full system stats (including router and/or high speed modem make/model) and we'll get it figured out.
