Backed up files problem.
Alright, before i had to reformat my computer, but something went wrong so i kept backing C: drive and now i can't get rid of the files that I've backed up.

you should be able to just delete them, did you try to do it in safe mode ?

Actually, I see only the directory nested in a directory -- no files. Do a Properites check and make sure you have permissions. Also, make sure you're log on as Admin. Viewing in the "Folders" view can also give you more clues.

it wont let me delete them, it says: Cannot delete old System Volume Information: Access Denied
Make sure the disc is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use. |

I suspect the "old System Volume Information" folder still has the special access settings it had. These settings prevent you from deleting it. Take a look here for some techniques to delete that folder. Make sure however you do not delete the real System Volume Information Folder in the root of the drive.
