Question reduce font size by using regedit

I wonder how to reduce font size by using regedit.

Which font sizes in which program do you want to reduce and why do you want to use the registry?

My wife's computer is somehow, the font sizes in Internet Explorer are big. I did something on registry, but I forgot which one.

What happens when in IE you click on VIEW->TEXT Size and change it to a smaller selection?
