Windows x64 evaluation
When I built my new computer, I downloaded and installed the Windows x64 Evaluation edition, in order to make sure I could find all the drivers for my hardware and that all my software would work. Last night, the evaluation period ended, and I got the standard blue screen. I expected that when I rebooted, M$ would tell me how to turn this into a paid full version, but nothing. So what do I do if I want to keep it? Can I just buy a key from somewhere? Will have I have buy a full install disk from Newegg and do a repair install? TIA.

Will have I have buy a full install disk from Newegg and do a repair install? -> This is the procedure for XP Pro. Would imagine it'll be the same for 64bit...But, do they make a retail version yet?

Yep the repair install method works fine. The OEM version should work.

Thanks, that's what I thought. If only I had ordered it before the evaluation period ended. Now I can't use my computer for more than two hours at a time before I get a bluescreen. D'oh!
