connect 3.1 to 98
I was wondering if there was any way to connect a windows 3.1 computer to a windows 98 computer to transfer files between the two
I was also wondering if there was any way to do the same with xp. |

It would be easier to remove the hard drive from the 3.1 computer and slave it into the 98 or XP machine.

Depends on how often and what you already have. Lantastic networking handles it well. I don't have 3.1 running on anything any more but I have had it in the past connecting to everything from DOS to XP.

That's Norton Commander 5.5 for DOS, it has a link function similar to Laplink. All you need is a parallel or serial file transfer cable - parallel will be a lot faster. It will run in a DOS window in Win9x and in a CMD window in 2K/XP. |
