System Reset

I built my PC about a year ago using parts I bought from newegg.com and haven't had a problem until recently. I think I may have a root virus and I want to completely reset my system so that Windows XP is the only thing loaded on the Hard Drive. On my old HP computer you could hit F10 at startup and it would let you do a destructive restore, but I can't do that on my new computer.

My question is: Is there any way I could do something like a destructive restore using Windows XP or is there any other way I could do it? I really just want to start over with just XP loaded, so any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Booting off the XP cd will let you delete the partition(s) and recreate/format the drive.

If you think you have a root virus you might want to zero fill your hard drive before you reinstall Windows. You can use a zero fill utility like DBaN or KillDisk.
