Angry Fire SPAM or JUNK MAIL

Does anybody have any good programs that block spam from inboxes on Outlook Express? I keep getting this same email about stock tips that is a graphic image so u cant filter any words on it to block, and the domain name changes to a new one each time it is sent. I still do a block on each one but since it changes everytime it still comes thru.

What e-mail service do you have? Do they offer spam filtering?

Learn to live with *some* spam - its just not worth the headaches. Use the webmail to prescreen your mail before downloading it with OE.

Bayesian Spam Filter for Outlook Express

I use an add-on for Outlook Express spam bully which was recommended earlier by a member of PCMechanic.

I was averaging 50+ emails per day that were all spam. After using it 2 weeks, Spam Bully's accuracy is incredible. The longer I use it, the more accurate it is. This is a major leap in stopping spammers. All of those keyword filters are a waste of time compared to spambully.

http://www.cloudmark.com/homeoffice/ Sorry I didn't include any other info when i posted this but the cat was on the keyboard drawer and I didnt have the heart to move him. Anyway, I've used Cloudmark with Outlook 2000 and 2003 and like it a lot. I still get some spam but it goes to a spam folder where I can deal with it at my leisure. It has cut down on a lot of the aggravation. There is a fee but it comes out to less than $2 a month, Worth every penny to me.

Just a heads up : I'm getting the same kind of spam, which is very interesting because it's the first spam ever to reach me. I'm serious, the past five years I've been using the same address which contains my real name @ my ISP and this was the first ever spam to find me. It's the end of the age of innocence for my mailbox. All this makes me think this particular spammer gets his adresses from email virusses (some of them collect email adresses) because I'm in quite a lot of peoples adress books and I never posted the address on any web page/forum/usenet group or whatever. I always use gmail addresses for anything which is not related to direct email communication with my customers.

Sigh, I guess I can finally check out some of the free email filters available.

I used to have the same problem with spam and junk but after following advice from pcmech I installed Cloudmark which syphons the spam to a spam folder. I use Outlook but believe there is a programme for Outlook Express. I tried many other programmes but they did not work. Cloudmark works.
