Help please
After unchecking the ..User must enter name and password to use this computer...
I can't get into my computer. I keeps asking me for a password but I don't have a password never made one. Can you help? Windows Xp pro Last edited by john ranger; 06-17-2008 at 09:53 AM. |

Have you tried entering no password? What other accounts besides the Administrator are on that computer?

Are you trying to log into the Administrator account or another user account?

I think you have to set a password for the Administrator account when you install XP SP2, so if you didn't install Windows on this computer/turn it on for the first time from the factory, you will probably have to seek out who did to determine what the password is.
