Error Msg

Last night I hade a power flicker that re booted both my computers. One restarted just fine. The other computer boots to Windows(XP w/ SP2) but I get an error signature box that will not close. I also do not have an internet connection on that computer. I can boot to safe mode, but restore does not help. The error box has a different code everytime I restart.
Specs: Albatron KX18D Pro using onboard LAN
AMD Athlon XP3200+
Radeon 9800 Pro
Seagate 120 gb drive
Any suggestions?

Boot to safe mode, open a command prompt, type CHKDSK /F - tell it YES to do it on restart, close the window, and restart. You probably have some file corruption.

Well I slept on it after fiddleing with it a couple og hourd. This morning I got up and started the computer, I found that the BIOS was in need of resetting. The time and date and a SMART drive were disabled, I checked and reset all settings and everything seems to be fine now.

Unless you're running a server or anything 24/7 critical, it's always a good idea to disable auto-restart after power loss from the BIOS.
