XP languages

Hi,
I just got this laptop of a Norweigan guy and of course everything is in Norweigan! Is there any way I can set it to english? By this I mean having all the OS messages and control panel stuff in English.

not sure if this will work but you can give it a try until someone here gives you a better answer.
i guess you'll have to navigate by the icons if the description is not in english.
start>control panel>regional and language option (icon looks like a globe).
click on the middle tab (languages).
click on the button (details).
click on the drop-down arrow and select english (if it's there).
click apply (button at bottom right).
