I've messed up my Windows Folders

Well, I messed my system up somehow. I was trying to change the default folder icon and in doing so I somehow made my folders in My Documents open to a search window instead of actually opening the folder. I've since gotten it to open to a folder, but it will only do so to another window. I have no idea what I did originally to cause the problem, but the way I fixed it (Half way at least) was to create another action for the "file folder" under folder customization and use the Explore program to open. Any ideas how I can get it set back to the original way of opening everything in the same window? Thanks in advance.

Try a system restore to the last check point before this happened.

Does a system restore erase files that I've added or does it just restore system settings?

Send a message via AIM to Alaron
It just restores system settings. You will not lose any files.
