Something is hogging my CPU!

Greetings!

This does not happen all the time, but every now and then my "system monitor" pegs out to 100% and will stay there for about 30 sec to 1 1/2 min. Everything pretty much just freezes until the cpu cycles drop again.

I've run all the anti stuff and have never had a problem there, and it doesn't really matter what I'm doing when it happens, sometimes I'll just be reading something on a web site, I've seen it happen when my screensaver is on too.

Is there a way to see what program is causing this? Some way to track down the culprit?

WinXP sp2
AMD Athlon XP2800+
2.5 gb RAM

Thanks!
Lee
