VMware
I'm planning to try out vista beta 2, but before the release i just wanted to know if i install vmware, would i be able to install it on an external hd, or could i install the os on an external hd?

Have you looked on Vmware's web site to see if it supports external drives?
Have you looked on Vmware's site to see if it'll support Vista? Microsoft's own Virtual PC doesn't support Vista yet......
