background clour resetting to default
hello again,every time i boot my computer the background colour has gone back to the default of grey and the following error message appears> "get process image file name could not be located in the dynamic link library (PSAPI.DLL)" any ideas thankyou

not really but have you tried setting a different picture (one from your picture folder for example) and seeing if that stays?

no that didnt workmthought it might as i have created a new folder for pics vids and music on my second HDD so i tried a pic from (C
 drive but didnt work

will it allow you to change to something in the default list?
(not that a yes or no would help me find an answer to your problem but someone else might). |

the problem isnt getting the pictures up if you didnt realise what i meant,its just the background colour but yes it will let me see the default pitures but still when i restart the colour is grey again

What operating system are you using?
Have you scanned for viruses, spyware, trojans and hijackers yet? Cricket

im on XP home and no i havnt scanned for viruses but the problem started as soon as i got the new HD's working,for some reason there is a file missing the one i stated but dont know if or how to get it back to solve the problem,i found a link for pcmightymax that says it would probably be able to add the file but i have already paid for it once for a month and dont want to waste more money if its not garaunteed to work
