Spoofing your servicepack? WinXP Pro
I have windows XP pro SP1 and I honestly can't be bothered to upgrade to SP2, is there anyway I can spoof my service pack so i can install some programs? I can do with the feature loss without the service pack though.

Why don't you want to upgrade to SP2? There is no reason not to and plenty of reasons to do so, such as improved security.

Hi Aaroniza,
Welcome to PC Mechanic !! ![]() Actually, I'm interesting on finding out a way to "spoof" programs, too. Anybody have any ideas? PS: nice link, jayb1234! I've got mine on the way
