Error message with file association

Today I changed the file association of both htm and html from Opera to NavRoad. When I double click the file, NavRoad opens it and the following error message is displayed:

Windows cannot find '(nul)'. Make sure you typed the name correctly and try again.

If I right click the file and use "Open with" and pick NavRoad the file is displayed and the following message is displayed:

Windows cannot find '(the full path is displayed here)' Make sure you typed the name correctly and try again.

How can I eliminate the error message. I am using XP Pro SP2.

How did you change the file association ? Did you do it yourself in "Folder Options" ? It sounds like you didn't include "%1" after the program name, this is used internally in Windows to provide the program with the name of the file you want to open.

Yes, I used "Folder Options". The variable is there. I found the anwser here:

I unchecked "Use DDE".
