Install XP Problem
I just build myself a computer and am trying to install Win XP and I keep getting a strange problem. I have 2 HDs set up in a RAID 0 config, when you install XP, the first screen that you get is to push F6 to configure something (I forgot what it says, but I know that I need to do it)...I try to push F6 again, and again, and again, but it never reads it. Goes on with the install, then finally gets to the end and says that it cant find the HD.
I thought it could be my keyboard (i have the G-15), but it works while setting up the BIOS, and I tried another keyboard and that didnt work...any ideas? |

Assuming you are talking about the motherboard in your signature, at the F6 prompt you have to insert the floppy disk with the raid drivers.
See section 5.6 in the motherboard manual for how to make the floppy.

No you have to use the motherboard cd to create the floppy on another machine, then put it in at the F6 prompt. The raid controller drivers for that model of motherboard can not be installed directly from the CD. You can only do it using the floppy.
