I wish to instal Windows 2000 Professional on a new build.
I have a Seagate Baracuda 200GB HD. Gigabyte GA-K8N51GMF-9 Motherboard. AMD 64 3200 1GB ram I am told the setup is different to Windows XP and you can not just put the disk in and it does everything. |

It works just like XP. However, you will be initially limited to a 128gb partition on your drive unless your copy of Win2000 has SP3 or SP4 already incorporated. If that's a SATA hard drive, you will need the SATA drivers on a floppy, press F6 when prompted at the beginning of Setup to install them.
