Can I assume this question concerns Windows 2003 Server?
The Security tab of the Properties contains an area to set detailed permissions for rule regarding access to the folder (& the files within it). Permissions are simply levels of access (to allow reading but not writing, for example). If you happen to be asking this question while setting up a file server on Windows 2003 Server, here's a nice tutorial --- http://www.windowsnetworking.com/art...dows_2003.html Best of luck . . .
