XP Log On Bypass?
how do I get my computer to simply go into the destop and not have to click onto user? I installed all the updates from windows update and now it does this. I have to click on the user name to get to my desktop. anyway to bypass this?

The setting is in a hidden control panel. I really don't know why they don't have this thing accessable from the main control panel, but here ya go.
From run, type "control userpasswords2" and uncheck 'users must enter a username and password...'
