everything freezed but the mouse pointer
Hi, I have a problem with a pc, it is an HP d533SFF the problem is that after a few minutes of use it gets freezed, but the mouse pointer still works, it has Windows XP SP-2 installled and Norton Corporate Edition.

What have you tried to fix the problem so far?
What kind of security software are you using? Do you scan regularly for viruses and malware?  Cricket

The security software is Norton Antivir Corporate edition 10, I was thinking it was a hardware related problem, I don`t know maybe a faulty memory, but I would like to know some extra suggestions.

If you think it's faulty memory, test it with memtest86+.
