Question, why are you thinking of deleting those text files anyway? |

As a general rule, they are ok to delete. They get created when you do Windows Updates.

I'd feel a lot better about giving advice on this if you would unhide the extensions and change the view to list or details.

You still haven't unhidden your extensions. You have to go into folder options to do that.
Text files don't take up much space - and they certainly aren't slowing anything down. |

No.....if extensions are unhidden, each file will list as KBxxxxxx.TXT instead of just KBxxxxxx.

On my computer they are .log files.
