Question Question

Howdy can the text doc's in this screen shot be deleted? They are in the Windows folder...

Question, why are you thinking of deleting those text files anyway?

As a general rule, they are ok to delete. They get created when you do Windows Updates.

I'd feel a lot better about giving advice on this if you would unhide the extensions and change the view to list or details.

I'm always looking for things to delete that dont do anything to free up room and speed things up...

You still haven't unhidden your extensions. You have to go into folder options to do that.

Text files don't take up much space - and they certainly aren't slowing anything down.

I want to see .txt after each of those filenames. No biggie.

I thought my previous sc showed them as .txt doc's.. Never mind I'll just leave them there... l

No.....if extensions are unhidden, each file will list as KBxxxxxx.TXT instead of just KBxxxxxx.
