I have a Dell D800 Laptop that i use on my company network, but for some reason everytime when i start it up without connecting it to the network, it takes ages to finnish running startup scripts.
It should not run that long, or it should not run at all when i'm disconnected from the network. What can i do to make this process load faster. |

My first reaction would be to advise you to check with your network administrator. Your NetAdmin would have first-hand knowledge of the work the scripts are performing. Changing anything without checking first could open a security risk.
. . . Gary [the extra lengthy startup when not connected is likely due to searches for network resources that are not present] |
