Hi
While trying to use a few commands in a cmd window i realized that the default path of C:/ had changed, so for ex if i type ''ipconfig" it would give me an error since it couldent find it.If i type such commands in C:/WINDOWS/System32 then it works. How can i restore that? i tried searching a bit on the microsoft webste and google but couldent really find anything. any help would be appreciated. thank you very much J

Hi No that was just a typo in the post.... In the environement variables i changed the path setting to C:\Windows instead of %System root% and it worked. I dont know what the problem was tho..... if anyone has any ideas i 'd love to hear. thanks J |
