Windows 2K with a Windows MCE effect kinda ...

Right I have used Windows MCE (the computer I am using is hooked to a TV) however I've started using 2000 so I have very fast boot time, etc. However I remember a while ago reading an arcticle in a magazine about programs that create a similer effect to MCE I was wondering it would be a wise idea to have one. Does anyone have suggestions on any decent tools? The tool will be for .avi (DivX + XviD) not really music.

I'll expain it a little easier basically you know the MEDIA tool on WINDOWS MEDIA CENTER? Are there any programs like that for Windows 2000 that do the same(ish) thing? It's so I can browse folders with a nice full screen and then select videos.

Yahoo! It also integrates several Yahoo! features that allow you to access music videos, box office movie reviews, local showtimes and trailers, search for videos, and listen to LAUNCHcast radio stations. Currently supported TV Tuner cards: ATI TV Wonder Elite, ATI HDTV Wonder, AverMedia UltraTV 1500 MCE, Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-USB2 , NVidia Dual TVmce. Yahoo! Go for TV is currently available inside the U.S. only

You don't need a tv card to use the software....

For a mere $109.00 you can get Windows MCE:
