Please help me on my video problem...

I have a computer, that when I play a video movie it comes up as jagged and fuzzy. The quality is really bad. I have noticed however that if I reduce the "Hardware Acceleration" to the centre, disabling directdraw etc, the movie plays fine. Additionally, the movie seems to play well with a VGA cable and not with a DVI cable which is so annoying. What could the problem be?

PC Spec:

AMD Athlon FX-55
4GB RAM
1.2 TB HDD (4x HDD)
Nvidia Geforce 6600GT x 2 (SLI)
Windows XP Home SP2
DirectX 9.0c (Latest,I downloaded yesterday).

Thank you for you help people.

Obvuiously you have an lcd monitor. IT will not be as harp as it oculd be unless it is in native resolution. Try changing the res to what you use when in windows. Each monitor size has a native resolution. I think you need to put the game in the native res for your monitor.
