HI im new here, but i was wondering if i could use dells xp on a custom made pc. i read somewere that you need to register authenticy of the installation of xp, i've installed xp on my brothers custom pc, and used the dell xp code found on my laptop and it registered, but after i rebooted it said i needed to register authenticity is there any way to bypass this and ues dells xp on another computer? im not planning on using windows updates.
can somone help me i've bought a xps m140 w/ xp with my erned money and i just want to use it on another pc. |

No, you cannot legally use a Dell copy of XP on another computer. It is licensed only to the Dell it shipped with.
