Windows XP can't load profile
Lately, I have been seeing errors in loading local profiles a lot. When this happens, users get a temp profile without any of their icons, favorites, etc. Obviously, this causes great heartache and many phone calls. The error message is this:
Quote:
Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator.
DETAIL - The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

So, my main question is this: is there any way to get Windows to create a log of the processes that are putting locks on files on bootup? I can see which processes are locking which files after login, of course, but this happens before login. Any ideas?
