Safe mode

My computer boots straight into safe mode. What can cause this? And what can i do to figure the reason for it please?

Use F8 to get to the boot menu and try starting it in normal mode. If that doesn't work, start it command prompt only and use scanreg /restore - and restore a previous date's registry that you know was still working.
