Windows Updates
I don't know if many of you have had problems with this or not, or have even noticed that this happens, but it is quite annoying and can be a huge problem, especially because you may lose your work. I have noticed, that lately; using the Automatic Updates that Windows provides for the supposed "convienience," Windows will set certain updates as high priorities and will look for a time of idle from the computer to install them. At that point, it will begin to count down from I believe 3:00 minutes. If you do not say "no" to this it will count down and will eventually restart your computer. Now, most of us know to save your file just to be safe before leaving your desk, etc. But in an office situation, sometimes things come up and you have to leave your desk immediately, and you forget to save. Then you lose your progress because Windows decides your gone, so it must install it, and restart your computer. Is there any freaking way to get Windows to stop doing this? Can't it just be the way it used to be by asking you, and not assuming? Thanks for your replies. Magic
