New help installing new OS

I recently just purchased a new processor and motherboard because I wanted to upgrade from the 754 to 939 AMD CPU architecture. On my hard drive I have 3 partitions 1st being a Server 2003 Boot and the second being XP boot(Dual boot) The third partition I have Data Music pics and important docs. I installed the new CPU and Motherboard and booted up and as expected it worked the first time then crashed then would not boot again. So I am trying to load 2003 same setup booted from the CD and Started a new windows install. I deleted the C: and formatted it and then when it goes to copy setup files it gets to about 61 percent and just sits there. Its acutally been sitting there since about 2 am last night. I tried this three times already and the same thing happens. I am hopping that I don't have to format the whole drive again. I could pull all the files off by taking the drive out into another machine but if anyone has an idea what is the problem here and can help me avoid all that work I would appreciate it!

You have a hardware issue - you need to run diagnostics on your ram and hard drive. You also may not have an adequate power supply - every 939 board I've seen requires an ATX 2.0 spec unit with a 24 pin main connector.

Psu

I do have the correct power supply. It’s a new motherboard and CPU. Where can I get this utility to diagnose the problem?

I think I am going to see if I can recover the files and just do full format of the hard drive.

If it's only 2 months old, run the WD Data Lifeguard Diags on it, get an error code, and get an online RMA for a warranty replacement.
