Odd windows xp startup...

An odd thing is happening with one of my clients cpu's.

They are having to start-up twice. The first time it will get the the Windows load screen and just sit there. The second time it will load into windows. So they have to start it up, once it gets to the windows xp load screen and goes no further, they re-start it and it loads fine.

it's consistant, that's why it's confusing. Any thoughts?

Any new software or hardware been added lately? any changes at all?
Does everything work once Windows is loaded?
Have you tried a system restore?

Yes, everything works once windows is loaded.

She has found a program under start/programs called "Reboot". Not sure what that is, and I haven't had the chance to check it out since she told me about it.

I'll ask if there is any other program she's installed. I'll also try and see if it just started, and if we can do a restore.
