Folder thumbnail options do what they want in XP pro

I usually use the "List" option for most of my folders, but for one folder where I have pictures, I use the thumbnail view, using my own images via Properties/Customize/Choose Image. There is only one folder where I do this, and the problem comes when I go to other folders and select Thumbnail view, I see that the computer has decided to choose images for the thumbnails from this particular folder. I've tried to reset folder options to no avail. It doesn't do this to all subfolders, just some.

I have no idea how to make XP customize some folders and leave the others alone.

Send a message via AIM to q2418130103p
you could try using the "Apply this view to all folders" button in folder options, but i assume it will reset your special settings also.
