Win XP por key issue
one of my computer recently started giving the message about the copy of xp pro edition being counterfit. I'm not suppriesed about this because the person who9 had it before me used illegal and pirated software. So i went and bought another copy of pro edition.
In stead of reinstalling it (i have lots of data and programs that i don't want to reinstall) I first checked to see if the copy of software was all there buy using the mocrosoft kep changer. The only problem was that when i went to enter the key it kept telling me that it wasn't valid soi used the key changer in magical jelly bean to change the key. I Checked the genuine advantage checker and then rebooted. When i re3booted the system did tell me that it was counterfit any more. It hasn't given me a message since and this was two weeks ago. So my questino is, is this a good fix because everything seems to work and the notice is gone or is there a better way to do this that doesn't involve reinstalling windows Just wondering. Thanks Ben |

I would think if the Genuine Advantage test at Microsoft showed it being legit, then all should be good with it.
