supervisor password ?

How do you reset the supervisor password in windows XP. I did as the manual said, which was disconnect the PC and move jumper from pin 1-2 to 2-3. Boot up and shut down at the desktop. Press the power on button, replace the jumper to 1-2, then restart the PC. It didn't work. I have also tried removing the CMOS battery. Help would be appreciated.

That resets the bios password, not the Windows password. Can't help you, please refer to forum rule 9.
