Question Restoring XP Pro and salvaging raid1 mirrored drives

Well I think it's been established that I need to reload Windows XP Professional because I loaded a bad video driver and now my system boots in a loop from Windows splash screen to the blue screen.

I have a Raid1 setup with (2) 36.6 gig drives in a mirroe configuration.
I also have 120 gig drive sitting alone. Non of these drives are partitioned. C and D drives.

I want to either repair XP if I can... if not just reload it.

My question is this. I have Raid1 Mirrored drives, what is the process to save everything? I think I unplug the mirrored drive and my 120 gig drive and try to fix the 1 36.6 drive alone? Then what happens? Do I then add the other 36.6 drive in and take all that data I need to save and add it to the 120 gig drive and then start over with a raid1 mirrored configuration? And reload everything again?

Anyone know what the steps are restoring a system?

Thanks
Steve

Have you tried booting to safe mode and deleting the video drivers?
If you can do that it might be able to boot with the default windows drivers.
System restore in safe mode to before you installed the bad driver might do the trick too.
Try that first.

You might have some tools to try in the Recovery Console, before you are faced with a "repair" install. Check the guides in Tips & Tricks, read through the whole thread, and make sure to visit the Michael Stevens' articles, which cover every last detail for situations either needing Reinstallation or the Recovery Console.

Please don't open a new thread - you have one going already and we have totally lost continuity.

Sorry, I looked at this as a new thread because I need to find out how to restore disk data from a raid mirrored drive. Different from my previous question of how to restore XP.

Hope I didn't upset anyone
