Upgrade?

how would I benefit for wanting to upgrade to Windows XP if you already have Windows 2000?
I appreciate any help.

TIA

It depends. Upgrading for the sake of upgrading really isn't necessary; Windows 2K is a good OS. But some applications, especially games, only support Windows XP. If you want to play a game that only works on XP, well, you don't have much of a choice.

Hi Giovanni

First, you might want to see if the computer(s) you are considering Windows XP for are XP-ready. Here is a link to the "Windows XP Upgrade Advisor" --- http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/h...g/advisor.mspx

And here is a side-by-side chart that compares features between Windows 2000 & XP ---
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p...aturecomp.mspx

Best of luck
. . . Gary
